2025 business planning should be underway NOW

I don’t know about you but 2024 has been a lot.

That being said, 2025 is not projected to look much better.

Selling anything is harder and it has been that way for some time.

If you really want to take 2025 to the next level then the time to plan is NOW.

Here is EXACTLY what I’m doing to get ready for it.

  1. Building up the savings account.

  2. Connecting with a company to discuss business credit options.

  3. Deepening my time investment in a paid entrepreneur group to leverage those connections and to strengthen relationships across various industries. This is a high-level group membership full of $250k and up earners.

  4. Planned out work sessions to develop monthly, weekly and quarterly targets and marketing activities.

  5. Team development sessions with team strategies explained, trained and implemented before the new year.

Putting in the work now will mean payoffs in the new year.

From what I have been experiencing there are more things that have to be in place than ever before to hit targets.

I can’t just depend on social media posting to get the number of clients that I want, I have to also rely on other avenues such as networking, outbound messaging strategies, live launch event conversions, thought leadership/ value funnels, events, referrals and platform exchanges.

The online approach to all of those methods has made selling a lot easier than when I was relying only on in person interactions and experiences plus multiple activities can be going on at one time—-for example I can be at a live event with my brand but also have a thought leadership funnel running in front of multiple partnering fb groups at the same time.

This is why the message is so important to lock down first because as you create a deeper impact online, with multiple systems running, you want to capture the right people to the ecosystem so that they can all then go down the same journey together. The lead flow tap needs to be always running and then the nurturing has to be in place to weed out the people who are not fits for the programming and then the sales team has to be there to close the deals. If you have multiple messages, it’s going to be too hard to keep up with it all and unfortunately this is something I see a lot amongst health service professionals and other consultants.

You should think about refining and clarifying your brand message and your own personal brand message. Both of those things are what we start with in my business coaching. The” three M’s”; Money, Mindset and Message.

Money is the first thing to talk about because targets are a large part of what make businesses, businesses. The other part is impact but to make impact we really should get aligned with the money piece to generate the resources needed to get our visions off the ground.

Mindset is so important for all business owners no matter the size or output and it is why coaching and mentorship are so valuable to business owners. A recent survey found that 98% of business owners who invested in a coach “were happy with their coaches”. Mindset work is a fundamental aspect of business coaching and it is probably the piece that makes coaching such a vital investment.

Message is about 50% of all marketing (the other 50% is math) and yet so many business owners never invest in a strategy to improve it. Another percentage breakdown if we really want to get into it is 30% message, 30% math: 30% systems, 5% optimizations 5% trends/ cultural influence

But we can think tank that on another day.

If you are not yet in a paid membership of peers why? A peer led mastermind to innovate with, grow with, learn from and refer amongst has been such a gift to me in 2024 especially when I stepped up to lead a local chapter.

You can cold pitch all day...
Create content all day...
Engage all day...

But nothing will open a door faster than a personal introduction!

Join The ADVANCE and be in the membership that I have called home for three years. I run a chapter in Richmond, Virginia and you can come to my next event as my guest (or I can introduce you to a chapter leader from another one of our 25+ chapters) Register to learn more here.
